Each partnership will choose a lesson plan, or other designated item, from the GAIN and GLUE topics for each day to be discussed with, and demonstrated to, others in the class so that lesson plan material (in particular) can be distributed to the largest possible audience.
Monday, June 27 - Blogger and Groups
Tuesday, June 28 - Transformation and iPads - For this session, we will not be discussing lesson plans, but the videos in the Transformation session and articles in support of iPad use. Partnerships need to be pursuing and presenting different sessions/articles for presentation
Wednesday, June 29 - iGoogle and iPad Apps - For this session, your partnership may either demonstrate iGoogle pages that you have developed for a school setting or discuss selected iPad apps that you find of special interest for use in teaching. If you choose to share iPad apps, this may overlap your group discussion post. Partnerships are not expected to overlap their presentations, however.
Thursday, June 30 - Calendar and Searching - There are only 4 lesson plans on the Calendar page and none on the Searching page. However, on the Searching page, there are more options than one is expected to write about. So, the 5th and 6th partnerships may choose either to demonstrate using the Calendar in an innovative way for lesson plan development or to demonstrate one of the searching options that could be envisioned as a particularly effective teaching device. No overlap in presentations between partnerships.
Thursday, July 7 - Drawing and Sketchup - These sites are a little low on lesson plans, with only one lesson plan on the Drawing page. This is a chance to be creative. Each partnership is challenged to develop a lesson plan using either Drawing or Sketchup, with examples, on the subject and grade level of your choosing.
Friday, July 8 - Sites and Miscellaneous
Note: There is no significance in the pairings between the GAIN and GLUE tracks. Each track was developed with sequencing felt to be appropriate within that track. No consideration was given for how modules from those two tracks would be matched in this track.
